In 1976 the Viking spacecrafts discovered a face of the surface of planet Mars (left, small in the corner). A picture of April 8 2001 (left, taken by the Mars Global Surveyor spacecrafts) shows the now 25 years older face. Aside from the official explanation from NASA, that the camara technology has improved, NOTneat believes that fast aging process due to erosion (e.g. from solar winds) is the main reason for the difference in the pictures. Also on earth it is observed, how serious scientists change the environment, to get into contact with extraterrestrial life forms (see below) and faces get wrinkles from aging.
